Delivering a better tomorrow
Sustainable growth
BCP Council required a name, brand and corporate identity for their new Urban Regeneration Company (URC), which will focus on transformational placemaking and sustainable growth across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole local authority area.
With a target audience at opposite ends of the spectrum, this brand needed to be broad in appeal yet distinctive to help fulfil the placemaking ambitions of all key stakeholders for the area.
Investing in our future
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is not just ‘one’ place, but a rich blend of British heritage and cultural diversity. Together, they form a forward-thinking and ambitious community; innovating through technology, architecture, art and design.
Our brand identity leads with the visual representation of Poole Bay. This crescent shape defines our local geography and acts as a connector to all three destinations, creating one of the UK’s greatest coastlines.
The crescent can also be interpreted as an upwards arc- a forward trajectory that together, form building blocks for the future. We wanted to capture BCP as an innovative place where both people and businesses thrive.
Regeneration for our communities
Since their launch, FuturePlaces have been busy creating a world leading city region for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole; repositioning the area as one of the best coastal places in which to live, work, invest and play.
Our human-centered brand has helped personify FuturePlaces as a friendly, approachable company with people’s best interests at heart. This identity has helped FuturePlaces form connections with the community and drive investment and opportunities for a more sustainable, happy and healthy life.
