Protect and preserve campaign
Bringing awareness to managing hazardous fluids and gas for both internal and external protection
The 200-year-old multinational Swiss-based corporation Georg Fischer has three core divisions: GF Piping Systems, GF Casting Solutions, and GF Machining Solutions. GF Piping Systems is a leading supplier of piping systems for transporting liquids and gases. GF Piping Systems asked Make Studio to create a campaign for their double-containment piping solution.
In order to comply with the increasingly strict legal requirements for the safe transport of hazardous media, GFPS wanted to bring their high-quality double containment system to the market. The GF Contain-IT system was developed to comply with environmental and personal protection laws which were key USP’s that inspired the creative campaign concepts.

For a broad range of sectors
A core objective for the project was to highlight GF as the premier partner for pre-containment systems across a variety of sectors. The best way we deemed to present the system was by creating three core images which related to the three GF brand pillars of ‘innovation and digitalisation’, ‘people and culture’ and ‘sustainability and ethics’.
The next layer down showcased the types of hazardous materials that the system could withstand; all coming under the campaign headline of ‘Protect and Preserve’. This visually lead campaign helped give the assurance that GF and the system would be more than fit for purpose.
Giving greater flexibility
The flexibility of having multiple core images allowed us to create a diverse range of assets for the campaign which culminated in an engaging hero film. Using our internal campaign modelling tool of ‘inspire, involve and inform’ we mapped out the assets best suited to meeting the targets of our campaign. Rather than focus on a data-rich technical product set, the assets pivoted to a visually engaging, highly creative centre.
Teaser and product films, CGI imagery, infographics and social media assets were underpinned by a product brochure, datasheet, print adverts and roll-up banners. Our work with GF Piping Systems has created a continuity between the campaigns, elevating the parent brand and creating recognition with the target consumer.
