ABB is transforming transformer inspections with their submersible robot. Helping to enable a smarter, greener, power grid.
We were briefed to create an info film to help launch the product at a number of trade shows and to help build awareness of a major solution to cleaning power grid transformers. We created an info film highlighting the key problems and risks to personnel normally tasked with cleaning a large space filled with oil and high voltage hardware. Using CGI and 2D animation we helped show this cute little robot being remotely controlled to do all of these tasks effortlessly – and then running through the key attributes and features that this new market innovation can do.
The project was a large success, being picked up by a huge amount of B2B publications throughout Europe and the film is currently used on ABB’s site to inform prospective clients.
