Returning to the original creators of their brand, Bayview entrusted Make Studio to refine their visual identity in a manner that reflects their status in the property world. The rebranding challenge had two goals: introduce a contemporary edge while maintaining the trust and recognition they’ve cultivated with their clients.
Approachable expertise
Our collaborative process began with a deep dive into Bayview’s values through workshops that paired their team’s rich industry knowledge with our creative expertise. The goal was to evolve their brand identity to align with current trends yet remain true to the core principles that their customers cherish.
The resulting strategy focused on modernisation and approachability. The Bayview brand evolution was about refinement, not reinvention. This new approach revolved around a “less is more” ethos which has always been present in the company’s values, but not so much in their brand identity.
Refreshing simplicity
The icon received a subtle facelift, enhancing its application across various platforms, while the primary shift was in the typography. Adopting the Polar typeface, we embraced elegance and simplicity, a testament to Bayview’s philosophy. The colour scheme was honed to highlight their iconic blue, now presented with equal prominence alongside the high-contrast black and white that defines their brand. This focused approach extends to all of their brand, ensuring every element aligns with the level of sophistication Bayview represents.
The refreshed brand has been met with enthusiasm from the Bayview team and approval from their clients. With the rebrand now extending to a new website, Bayview is poised to introduce their evolution to a broader audience, reinforcing their commitment to quality and beauty in homebuilding.
